Michael d. Nathan

Michael Nathan is a San Francisco-based beverage industry professional who began his career in Boston. With over 10 years of hospitality experience in high-volume craft cocktail bars, tiki bars, and fine dining programs, he has developed a depth of knowledge and honed skills that have driven his success across diverse settings.

In 2023, Michael developed the Aphotic bar program, which helped earn its first Michelin Star. This was followed by a nomination for Tales of a Cocktail’s ‘Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar: U.S. West’ in 2024. Then went on to earn the Michelin Cocktail Award later that year.

In 2024, he founded his hospitality consultancy, specializing in beverage program development and staff training, to share his expertise with a broader community striving for excellence.
